Resource conservation: water (DEP response)

I received the following to my very general email to the DEP, some additional research and more pointed questions should result help the people at the DEP point me in the right direction, but for now:

Dear Mr. “building”:

Thank for your recent email.

DEP has a Comprehensive Water Reuse Program which is a discounted rate for properties that implement substantial water efficiency and water reuse renovations involving either stormwater and greywater, stormwater and district steam condensate or a blackwater system.

You can download the application and instructions from our web site: http://nyc.gov/html/dep/html/meter.html#reuse

If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to respond.

Thanks again for your email.
On a side note, I was poking around the Technorati.com site and found another couple going through similar Adventures in Investment Property. The pre-closing/closing accounts have already unearthed fairly recent memories I’ve tried to forget..
