Landlord Benefits: Dental Insurance

A little off topic, but hey — these are my notes =)

In the not-so pleasant process of switching dentists and, as with anything else, I want to ensure that I’m not going to be stuck footing the bill for anything that I have to have done. However, in order to get an estimate, generally, your butt has to be in the dentists chair, unless you’re able to get the dental codes and prices for commonly performed procedures. Getting the codes and prices that you think you’ll need to know before calling the dental insurer will cut down a lot of time (just wish I knew that in advance)..

WorkingToday.com (Freelancer’s Union) offers a few different dental insurance plans (in addition to health/life insurance) to people who’s employers don’t provide any (or only partial) coverage. For dental insurance, WorkingToday goes through Guardian’s DentalGuard Preferred (depending on the plan you go with).
