After doing probably more research than really required (seems to be the trend)\u00c2\u00a0we settled on purchasing an over the range microwave by Whirlpool.<\/p>\n
Problem now is finding an electrician to run a dedicated line from the electrical panel (roughly 15 feet away) over to the area I need the outlet. Doesn’t seem like much of a problem until the semi-finished basement and crown moulding is factored in. Can’t go down through the floor and then back up the wall without ruining the basement ceiling and the wall below the electrical panel. Can’t go up above the ceiling without cutting the crown moulding.<\/p>\n
The first guy I had in the give an estimate tells me that he’d have to cut through everything because “sometimes the drill gets away from me” — not exactly a statement that inspires client confidence.<\/p>\n
So, it looks like it’s back to contractor searching — more on this later.<\/p>\n
