While the union was supposedly fighting for the average worker, many temps and contract workers were left out in the cold without any way of making it to work. Again, many of these workers, like me, don’t have the paid days off or benefits that the transit workers have enjoyed for decades. What the TWU did\u00c2\u00a0IS illegal, as such, some NY’ers are taking it up with the courts (something that I’m going to look further into):<\/p>\n
