Depending on the severity of the complaint, an inspector will visit the property anywhere from 24 hours to 6 weeks after a complaint has been lodged.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I couldn&#8217;t think of anyone better to lodge the complaint against me than me. Called 311 and told them that I was concerned about the building&#8217;s structural integrety because of the large gap in the foundation that exposed the brick of my neighbors foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: same day, 5 hours later:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dept of buildings had someone out to my place within a few hours of the complaint being filed to attach a large sign to my front door &#8220;requesting&#8221; that I contact the DoB as soon as possible.
